Nice white MGA parked up in the multi-storey car park in Taunton this afternoon - tidy red '67 Mini too but I was driving that so it doesn't count!

This weekends cars, classics being driven on the road although not necessarily cool, were a Ford Escort MKI, Mustang Mach 1 Convertible, Daimler SP250 Dart, Mini Clubman, Riley Elf, an early Hillman Husky van and a Humber Super Snipe.

I had to look twice. he was in town again today, saw it on the market square and on Potton road this afternoon. its really got great road presence! it's been a good weekend for classic car spotting, seen a very nice MG RV8, Triumph TR5 and a very unusual VW Beetle earlier today! it looked as if someone had taken the roof off and replaced it with a hot rod style low cut canvas roof! it also had a beetle bonnet mounted on the back too. never seen anything like it before so i assume it must have been a project car or something!

A very nice red MGA on the M4 Sunday mid-day, his missus was driving complete with bomber jacket and goggles too A top '70 Bug, lurid purple open top but very sazzy. Gave them a way from the P6 as I was on a nice Sunday hoon as well.

Spotted thousands of classic Volkswagens on the M1 yesterday - must have been a VW show on somewhere in the Midlands! Plenty of Karmann Ghia coupes, beach buggies, Beetles and Camper Vans! Also a few nice ones in London including a silver Rolls Royce Silver Cloud, Chevrolet Impala (the one that took part in Gumball - spotted earlier in the day!), maroon Aston Martin DB6 Coupe parked in a drive, red '75 Ferrari 512BBi, '65 black Ford Mustang convertible and a black Porsche 356 Roadster (looked like a genuine one to me!) Finally spotted a red early 1970s Alfa Veloce Coupe on the M1. True to form it was on an AA truck Will post some photos later on when I get my camera organised!

Turns out it is The Dogg Westwood - Hemel Hempstead's finest rude boy. He was driving it when I saw the car and it seemed like nobody had noticed! As Ricky Tomlinson might say, "Celebrity my arse!"
