I saw a proper vintage Bugatti driving past my house the other day. There are a couple of Bentleys near by but this surprised me.

It's pictured in this month's Classic Cars magazine competing at the Manx Classic (hence the hill-climb timing blade on the front and number on the door). Owned by a Mr Gadbury apparently.

FIAT 8V "Otto Vu" Berlinetta Coupe (1955) at VSCC Cadwell Park on Saturday.

AFAIK of the 34 8V's built, only three had this coupe body.
I quoted this just so I could see your photos.

You mean of the 34 (out of 114) bodied by Carrozzeria Speciale FIAT, only 3 had this coupé body, don't you?

It's very pretty, although I prefer the Ghia 'Supersonic' body. The 2 litre V8 must sound incredible, too!

F4/454/S
1934 11/2 Litre Mark II 2/4 seater Aston Martin
Known as a "Bertelli" Aston, after Augustus Cesare "Bert" Bertelli who owned and ran AM at the time.

William Renwick and Bert Bertelli bought Aston Martin after Bamford & Martin went out of business in 1925 as a way of marketing their own one and a half litre car. Their car had no relationship with the B&M car other than the engine size but the name Aston Martin was already established.

Bertelli Astons secured AM's racing pedigree with Class wins at major motor races including the Double Twelve at Brooklands and at Le Mans in the thirties.
