COOL CLASSIC CAR SPOTTERS POST!!!
Discussion
Reading the Supercar spotters post has inspired me to start a classic car spotters post, as i see quite a few really nice classic cars that wouldnt qualify in any way to go on the supercars list. And we're now getting into some very nice weather, and seeing many about.
Ill start with what i saw yesterday:
Austin Healey 3000
1930's Alfa Romeo
Alfa Romeo Duetto
Rover P5B Coupe
Aston Martin Vantage (origional)
Ferrari 328 GTS
A war-era Bentley I think (not too good with really old cars)
Any one else willing to share??

saw an immaculate dark green Rover P6 3500S yesterday. the owner obviously takes good care of it judging by the condition of the interior and the gleaming paintwork!
and the other week i saw a group from Healey/Midget owners club gathered in a pub near me. the group consisted of 2 Frogeye Sprites, 2 Spridgets, 1 orange Midget and an Austin A40, they all looked fantastic!

Here in New Zealand I regularly see 1970's Mini's and 1960/70's Austin 1100/1300's and two Austin Sevens recently. Yesterday an Austin Princess and a Wolseley 6. Last weekend there were Zephyrs and Zodiacs abound. Usually there are a few early Vauxhalls on the road, late 50's stuff to mid 70's. I'm aware of a paddock with around a dozen Humber's in various states of decay .
Its really good to see these old cars still being used, they may not be cool but there still here! I'll post any new sightings as and when. Great thread

Yesterday I saw two AC Ace Bristols, two DB monopole Panhards, Two GT40's, three Cobras the Lumsden/Sargeant low drag E type, a bunch of ordinary E types, the Dr Berry 3 BXV racing E type, a bunch of XK's, Ferraris from 275's through Dino's to F40,s and the ex Pilkington family 250 GTO, Mini Coopers, Alfas; I could go on. Every one was on the road driving too, I wasn't in a museum. The Tour Auto had come to town on its way south to Niort yesterday.

Superb looking black VW Karmann Ghia Convertible heading into Nottingham University this morning. The car looked mint, left hand drive and a driver with a beaming smile to boot
Strangely, I have a real dislike of these - they're pretty but they're not a Porsche and the engine.. well it's just not my cup of tea.

there is a great Karmann Ghia Coupé in orange with black roof just around the corner from my home.
i saw a bright orange KG convertible the other week! i like them, certainly not bad looking little cars for whats basically a beetle in a party frock IMO!
funny enough i saw a beige coloured coupe in a village near me earlier today!
