As the thread title only states "period classics" - how's this????

My classic Gresham Flyer - how many of you out there will admit to remembering these great classic trikes? hehe

here's one, parallel error with viewfinder

you might be able to pin the year down by the clothes, if you were there, but not easy

Great photo of the Princess Nigel, and the car hehe

Gave me the incentive to dig out a photo of the 1300 I used to have in my fleet.

Nicknamed "Bouncer" - great little car.

c'mon then the year

the car wasn't much of a bouncer later as I got a £20 fine and endorsement for 'failing to maintain suspension'

did you get wood capping and dash in the MG?

I assume you got a rev counter

is that a Pifco front lamp on the deluxe trike?

Mine was Mk II with wood dash, round speedo and matching rev counter - sadly no wood door capping.

I bet the Princess had fold out tables in the back of the seats cloud9

I've some photos of the MG interior somewhere - I'll try and find them.

hood frame grey then smile

yes VP had hyrdowhat's it suspension, wood dash and door cappings, felt hood lining, individual front seat arm rests, green tint dials (as did Kestrel I think), full leather seats of course, thick carpet, armrest to rear, two rear courtesy lights and yes two pull down picnic tables with chrome glass tray inserts

mine was the 1100 (single carb) and a bit down at heal when I had it

love to see MG interior shots

I almost bought as Austin 1100 6 years back, I'd forgotten how roomy the cars were but the one I tried (ex-Gaydon back room museum car) was dog slow

we were still at junior school then

I thought the denim waist coat might pin it down but I suppose fashions ebb and flow over a number of years

OK let get the car anoraks thinking - the car, an 1100, would have been 12 or 13 years old then (old banger not 'classic')

Hmmm - Personally I'd say 1981 - but then I know nothing. However, look sharp left in this photo:-
