How about a 'period' classics pictures thread
Discussion
Ok, I've pinned down the boat saga a little more:
"Girl Pat", the boat shown above, was late '60s.
By 1973, he had a Fletcher Arrow. I can't find any pictures with the name, but I vaguely remember it was "Girl Pat II".
This is the boat I remember skiing behind and driving in the mid '70s. My sister may have skied behind "Girl Pat" but I was too young.
There's one other boat that appears, only once - "Jinky":
From the picture I would guess this was earlier, but I really don't know anything more unless Huntsman can comment?

http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?regse... - three pages of pictures of the aircraft throughout it's life, but your's is the only shot of it with Court Line.BAC 111-530FX, registration G-AYOP (cn 233) (5N-BDV). New to 'Court Line' in 1971 and later with 'British Caledonian' & 'British Airways'. It ended its days in the UK with 'European Aircharter - EAL' before it was sold to 'Savannah' (as 5N-BDV). Last noted in 2005 stored at Abuja, Nigeria.

Interesting, thanks! I've (hopefully) uploaded the picture there, it's awaiting moderation.BAC 111-530FX, registration G-AYOP (cn 233) (5N-BDV). We were on board a Court Line plane as well, I think it was also a 111 but no pictures of it.
A couple of other pictures here (Luton Airport - "Were you truly wafted here from paradise?"), but nothing identifiable that I can see:
Back to car pictures again soon, I promise!
I seem to remember that Court-line were part of Clarksons. When I was a kid, we were on a cruise with them on a Greek liner, in Turkish waters when the Greek Cypriot war broke out. At the same time as Clarksons went bust. As a child I was oblivious of all this and all that I knew was we had an extra week's holiday and ended up in Palermo instead of Istanbul!

The Bear & Billet in Chester.
Red Maxi, Yellow Escort Mk1, White Escort Mk2 Estate, Green Cavalier Mk1?, Blue Transit and a saloon I cant identify.
I think the yellow car is a Cortina Mk2, and the white estate is an Escort Mk1. Agree with you on the rest.Red Maxi, Yellow Escort Mk1, White Escort Mk2 Estate, Green Cavalier Mk1?, Blue Transit and a saloon I cant identify.
I'm struggling on the brown saloon as well. It looks vaguely like a Zodiac Mk4 but I'm not sure, even with the help of the original picture!
The picture is dated 1981 if that helps.
