From left: Norton ES2, AJS 16/18M (depends on whether it's a 350 or 500cc), Ariel Huntmaster, Royal Enfield Bullet is my guess!Well done that man, left to right 1956 ES2 Norton 500cc single, AJS 350 single, 1955 KH 500 twin and 1953 Enfield 500cc Single Bullet

That's a tougher one, not being able to see the tanks or engines I reckon far left looks quite heavyweight, so maybe a big Enfield twin? Then a BSA, an Ariel (looks to be a twin port?), the right hand pair I can't really get - looks like they're the same though? They also look slightly older and something is saying Zenith or something odd like that, but I don't know why really

Dad isn't sure but he thinks they are all Ariel's, wouldn’t it be nice to be able to have a chat to these lads, ah well !
They could well be, the right hand pair certainly look earlier. They look late 20s, and getting newer the further left in the picture, the left bike looks far heavier too!And yep, would be some tales to hear of motorcycling in those days.
Lovely photos to have

1928 Ariel Model A or B I reckon. Unless it's a more upmarket one with the lights The man knows his bikes
Just found a pack of slides from 1981. Not sure if it qualifies for this thread as the car was quite old even then. Anyway they are of a friends ( Gary, do you frequent this forum ?)Sunbeam Stilleto. He tired of the performance of the standard imp engine so reinstalled from a sidecar outfit a race imp engine. I seem to remember him having problems with Wills Rings (?). He also widened the wheels by welding a rolled strip of steel into them. They seem to withstand the enthusiastic cornering.
Apologies for the crappy slide copying,my bit of cardboard tube needs fine tuning!

Here’s a few from my past, I’ll try to put some dates to them as best I can:
1959 Bedford Dormobile which I bought one summer for a bit of fun, it took six of us camping to the South of France, here it is in Biscarrosse. It never made it back though, it broke down dramatically 50 miles or so south of Paris. Amusingly because of our schoolboy French the garage owner thought we wanted paying for it when we werwe trying to ask how much it would cost us to dump it in his yard! I originally paid £35 and he gave me 200FF which I think was about £15-£20

A line up of MGs including my MGA 1600, my brother’s MGB together with my mate’s TC and TF. This nice display of cars was back at my wedding in 1979.
This is a friend’s Riley Parthfinder which I can’t remember much about but I snapped it around 1975/76 at the back of Brentford Docks. I expect it’s all bijou apartments around there now
Finally, and I don’t know if this is period enough, my Porsche 924 Turbo pictured in 1982’ish outside my house. Although perhaps not considered that quick by modern standards it felt it at the time with a 0-60 of around 6.5 secs. It was a fun car and the dog-leg first gear gave me an excuse not to let anyone else drive it!

You might be in luck with Brentford docks, whilst some of it has been redeveloped a lot hasn't- looking at the photo the old railway arch's are in the background but would have been decommisioned by the mid 70's I suspect. If that is somewhere near what is now a tatty industrial estate the scene might still survive.

Looking at the Manta or Cavalier Coupe 79 would probably be about right.
The Cavalier Coupe had the strip down the side and the Manta didn't IIRCMy bro had a Manta and I had a Cavalier Coupe. SJM 20S where are you now? The plate is on something else, that much I know.
