Wow, would be such a bummer to own a milestone car and then you find out that Noel Edmonds had touched it.
Why is that? Somewhat worse I think to find that Leyland workers built it. That really IS bad.

I came across this shot of what looks like De Gaulle and his Citroen DS standing in a convoy. Unfortunatley I forgot to note the location. He had several DS with full length sunrroofs over the years .

Picture's titled 1957 which I would think may be close going off the parked bikes and what looks to be a Bedford CA van in the distance.

Later as that's a Mk2 Triumph 2000 (or 2500) in the background, so has to be 1970 onwards.

That looks like the section of the A23 between Pease Pottage and Handcross before it was widened.

And four wheel drive.....

And slicks were being used in drag racing back in the early 60's.

I'm curious how they got it on and off that flatbed with the wheel arches in the way; bonkers looking machine.

It might just about have enough power to drive up over them.

My Dad as a teenager sometime in the 60s.

Dad again on his pride and joy. Not sure what the bike is though.

Dad fixing his Triumph sometime in the mid 70s.

Dad riding said Triumph sometime in the mid 70s. Picture taken somewhere in deepest darkest Derbyshire.

My Dads "crew" taken in the 60s somewhere in Rugby.

Mum on her pride and joy after being "converted" from scooters sometime in the late 70s.
Wonder how many times she caught those flares on the kickstart?
