Can't be too many of those boxy Alfas left.
That's not necessarily a bad thing is it?

If you draw a vertical line up from the drivers seat of the gold Manta, you can see a blue quad headlamp saloon nestled in between the Cav and the Escort. Is it an XJ S3?

Given what else you could be lumbered with, that Guilietta probably wasn't a bad option if your company was paying for the harrowing depreciation and monthly repair bills. I mean, compared to the dire Cav, Sierra, Montego or Nissan Bluebird options of the day?

Looks like it, possibly the Daimler version.

Just found these pics of Lotus Cortinas parked up in Wolsey Crescent, New Addington circa 1978/9.
Geoff owned the D reg in all 3 pics, unfortunately it is was destroyed by fire in 1980 when the carbs spat back and ignited.
He replaced it with a 'red 78 Lancia Monte Carlo in 1980, which he still owned up until he passed away in 2012.

I think the rear one was owned by the late, Tony Lyn-Jones at the time, he lived in Dartford, so fits location wise? I think he sold it around '81/82 ish?

I believe the location is Ryecroft, near Walsall, but I don't know any more than that

I have a photo from a Ford show at Longleat in the early 1990s where NAR362D is parked next to NAR361D iirc

Maybe not old enough for this thread but late 80s in Shrewsbury. Liked the contrast with the Cosworth and Jag

And the approaching Sierra, wonder if the owner was as happy to see a RS Cosworth!

Cossie is an E reg, but its not a RS500. Can't have been many of the original batch of 3dr cars on an E plate?

I remember the local dealer, WR Davies, having a 3-door, 500 and Sapphire 2wd on the forecourt ...all on E-plates at one point

A Clubman Estate - the restyled front suited the estate much better than it did the saloon.

Most definitely old enough for this thread! If the 1980s were your teenage years (like mine) thats the equivalent of looking back to the 50s.
