Retro Car Stereo
Discussion
Hi guys, having just got a lovely '72 Scimitar GTE, which the previous owners had spent a fortune on retrimming the interior, i am thinking of a decent Stereo head unit. But I want one that will not look too out of place in the black vynyl dash. i-pod connection important, any ideas for a Retro-syle head unit??
Why not just rewire the positive and negative terminals? A simple job for any decent auto electrician / ICE specialist.
The guys at WTCR who do all the Ferrari's etc from Maranello and a whole host of classics such as Aston Martin, Porsche, Jags etc will do the job for you and fit a decent Becker.

Fine idea, but insulating the unit from the chassis and so on ain't easy. If I don't it'll short out straight away. If it was just reversing the polarity of the unit no problem but one has to go further than that. The guys at WTCR who do all the Ferrari's etc from Maranello and a whole host of classics such as Aston Martin, Porsche, Jags etc will do the job for you and fit a decent Becker.

Ooh lovely, never seen the pioneer, but now I want one.
But much as I would like find a DEH-P77MP I might be too impatient and opt for one of these:
