Here's mine

Singer Chamois, 998cc engine, twin Weber 40DCOEs on a combined manifold with an across the back silencer, approx 4" extra ground clearance from longer springs with spacers, 13"x4" wheels (std is 12x4.5) from an Austin A35 (I think), radiator at the front etc. Note the spare wheels carried on the engine lid to move the weight distribution backwards.

Used for classic trialling (see my profile pic as well) when it works.

Here's mine, it was originally a Mk2 Escort 1600 Sport smile

Runs a 380hp Cosworth Turbo engine, gets driven everywhere. The first pic was at the Nurburgring last Easter, drove there and drove it home after.

That box can take some hammer, IIRC Aston Martin chose it for the Automatic twin Super Charged Vantage.

They had some variety of the later four-speed A518, I was wondering if the CV8 still had a three-speed 727.

IIRC it was the 3 speed in the V8 Supercharged Vantage not the four speed.

Indeed, still the 727, all be it considerably beefed up. They are cheap (ish) to rebuild and are fairly bullet proof. The 496 Stroker has been built as a torque monster with not too wild a Cam for mooching around in London traffic if neccesary.

I approve of this a lot. In fact I approve of your entire car collection. Your garage looks nice too. Can I come visit? biggrin
