Nice Roy, very nice. I considered one of these before deciding on the Aston. Has the S gone though? You must have had that for more than 10 years? Rich...

Mate, it wasn't flippant, it wasn't even funny you simply called someone an idiot. There's no humour in that. You made a mistake, your joke fell flat so why don't you just stop digging. hehe

I had the S2 for exactly 19 years. I wanted a thirties sports car and the Suffolk is much better engineered than the original SS100.

Wow... Thinking back I got my S3c back in 95 and you had your ever since I've known you. I love the Suffolk, I looked at them every year at the NEC and Goodwood wher ethey have a display. Did you do any of the construction yourself or was it a finished car? What spec is it?

It's a brand new (Nov 2010) chassis and body, with a reconditioned Jaguar 4.2 straight-six, 4-speed O/D gearbox, Salisbury diff, XJ6 suspension and brakes. Built by Suffolk to my specification.

most years (except this year unfortunately) Keith has his Suffolk SS100 on the SBDR at the CMS for you to take a ride in

I found out that the cabin is quite small for the size of car when I helped a particularly tall and comfortably built gent to get in as a passenger

The car features in the NEC video a few times especially at 3' 24" when it is the presenter's chosen car for a ride

I think you're stretching the meaning of the thread title a touch too far there hehe

You've totally missed the point of this thread then as that's not a 30s style photo.
