Clearly there's just been a blag somewhere and in a few seconds a Mk II Jag is going to come sliding to a halt before the blaggers jump into the Rover and the wheelman takes them back to the manor!

Not far off gents (but without the shooters hehe), it was an early morning stop off job before heading back across the river to meet up with some mates in their '70s classics, namely a pair of Mk1 Granadas, a Mk2 Granada, a Mk2 Escort, a Vauxhall Victor FD 4/90 and a rat look VW Beetle.... really just a jolly boys outing around old TV and film locations, a pub lunch and a good old natter about how life seemed to be so easy and carefree once upon a time!

Thats the beauty of digital images, taken in the right situation like the Rover and that industrial building once changed to black and white looks the right age for the car.

Someone will be along in a minute to spoil it by saying the tv aerial is wrong and anyway, dogs couldn't drive until some time in the 80's.

Gratuitous thread bump - thought I'd post these shots from 'The Baarder-Meinhoff Complex', the producers made a valiant effort to get the details right from the cars to the locations etc, quite a few classic Mercs and BMWs were used... the group stole a pre-impact bumper 911 Targa which belonged to a motorsport photographer...

I've been fiddling about with some classic car shots taken in London over the last few years and thought I'd give this one a go, taken in Brook Green, Hammersmith in April 2011 where some episodes of 'The Sweeney' were filmed...

bump. Here's the original car in a police compound:

repainted from yellow after the theft. The movie car is pretty close.
