How about a 'period looking' classics picture thread?
Discussion
Well spotted sir! Nor should it have indicators, but both of those have gone now (indicators in the headlight nascelle and the tail lights) so it looks much better. On the subject of replicas, (it's a Lynx of course, not having won the lottery) I saw a "Lynx Replica" advertised so beetled along to see it. As a tip of the hat to Lynx, someone had taken a glass fibre mould of a Lynx and made a car, so I guess it should have been advertised as a "Replica Lynx Replica"! Does this look better? I've even airbrushed out the extinguisher handle and big red "E" sign.

Ahaha!, now that is the ticket. It would be hard to know whether that was this year of 1955. Marvellous. The Lynx machines were made not from me, in fact I believe they started the business in Tenterden Kent before moving to Hastings? Great machines, i would love one. I have a black and white brochure for a Lynx D Type somewhere I bought on E bay....maybe worth something one day!
