Frodo monkey! Hell of a collection, my old man had a Husky as a young man, Ive never seen one! Where is the garage?
Friend of mine had one as his first car back in in the 80's (The 1980's!). You had to shout to each other on the motorway the thing was so noisy, had a top speed of about 60mph and had a vicious gearbox. On the plus side , it had masses of room for the band's gear.V41LEY said:

Dad tells stories usualy relating to lack of proper heating and having to regularly check the rad hoses were still warm (ran through the sill / trans tunnel???). Apparently if they went cold the cooling system had air locked leading to iminent over heating! I also recall a story of him over taking a police car on the A19 in heavy snow, the police car was leading the way, but guess dad got bored!
You are right. I don't recall any heating mechanism in the car ![quote=frodo_monkey]I took my Reliant race car to a nearby workshop today for a session and thought I'd show you some of the dead/dying motors in his yard... No idea what the story is on any of these, but some nice metal/fibreglass there!
Slightly battered looking Esprit and a tidy Corrado. Behind is one of a few of the Imp family dotted about!
Mk1 Fiesta, a competition car at some point but not for a while I guess (harness dated 2006). Beautiful multipoint cage in there.
The Imp coupe (Stilletoe) should be saved

Possibly a repost, not got through the whole thread, but a cool story none the less.
