Fascinated by the DHSS spec - how does that differ from the standard spec?
You get a giro in the glovebox

Looks like an out-take from The Sweeney.

I have an idea at the back of my mind that the Church of England had their own spec for Minors that is quite similar. I know about the MOD spec travellers.

We had a pickup just like yours on the farm when I was a kid - PPW 448F if memory serves. I know it doesn't exist anymore because my brothers used it as a field car when it failed its MOT until it literally broke in half and we dumped it in the farm rubbish pit(!)

Do let us know how you get on.
We are getting them externally restored. Mine by a fellow Barnsley Branch MMOC, the other by a mechanic we know. But at the moment, the Branch member is making a Minor motorhome (and doing a great job) and the mechanic is doing another of ours into a van:

I see this has the Christian Fish Symbol badge on the rear. Not sure that even if Jesus performed the Miracle of The Rusty Jag this will even run in anger again.

Jesus saves, but the weather puts away the rebound.

Four 205 GTI's I saw on a lunch break, guessing none of them are used/run, and not sure how long they have been there!

That looks like Mick Geens spot in Harrogate?, if it is one of them is likely to be my brothers old Hillclimb Car, they aren't likely to be scrap, just spares, he builds and tunes them for competition.

ok, when I get a chance, I'll get the CSI out of it's dungeon and take some better pics. I've been thinking that it deserves a restoration. Rust in the sills and poor paint but solid overall - would like it back to bare metal, dipped or whatever and restored properly but not sure where to send it so any advice gladly received!

No it's just a csi, the spoiler was on the car when I got it. It's got the deep front spoiler thingy as well. I think both of those will come off if/when it gets restored.
