Not a classic at all, but this volvo has been parked in the same spot for years and years...

Buutttt. It obviously runs as recently it was turned around (I'll get a pic later)

The Seddon Atkinsons behind it are getting rare these days.

That being the case, I'm sure he or she would fully approve of the sound horse whipping they deserve for allowing such a fine car to end up in that state!

Has this been mentioned before? If so, apologies, but I find it so terribly sad.

A pal of mine who lives near Lucca in Italy sent me these pics over of a place he's found, told him to investigate further!

This photo is a few years old, and assumed it was road going or near enough. The modifications looked relatively modern..

..That was until I uploaded it to Flickr yesterday and decided to do a DVLA check on the registration:

Date of Liability 01 01 1988

Date of First Registration 18 08 1966

Year of Manufacture Not Available

Cylinder Capacity (cc) 848cc

CO₂ Emissions Not Available

Fuel Type PETROL

Export Marker N

Vehicle Status Unlicensed

Vehicle Colour RED

Somewhat surprised it had been off the road that long!

I've posted pics from there,twice since 2010.

A few of the cars change but some ,like a red Bi Turbo have been there a long time.

When i went last year, the owner invited me in to take more pics despite neither of us able to

speak each others language.

I'll find a few sample pics.

That's also had a new, later body shell......wonder if that's been declared?

The Lorries are all gone and the site cleared last time I went past.

I can confirm that loon drives around in a burnt Rolls Royce

his old place that burned out was just up the road from my flat at the time, I did a thread on it I think, fire was at least 7 years ago, he's still running it like that

3.0 litre Carrera, quite a rare model, well worthy of saving. Where is it?

Indeed, I don't really understand. I thought the registration may have been private or transfered until the check, wasn't expecting the 1966 or the 1988 in there..
