My cousin bought a new red GTI 16V as an legit import in 1989 for £11k......always said it was one of his favourite cars despite having a succession of GTIs and M3s.....at the time I had a Cavalier SRi 130 as a company car and was so impressed by the heady 139bhp of the Golf! How times change......

Must be plastic, it has bodywork left, real one would be little more than a brown stain on the concrete if stored in those conditions for any length of time.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-beds-bucks-he...
