Not sure these count as classic yet, but a nice older Merc languishing under some trees near me.
Ouch! If that's a E320, it's worth £15k in top nick.

Every single design Harris Mann penned (AllAggro, Princess, TR7, Metro, Maestro, as well as contributions to the Scrote, Marina and Crapi) was a disaster from start to finish. The TR7 was easily the ugliest two-seat production roadster ever, beaten only by Towns' one-off Guyson E12, cereal-box rebody of a crashed V12 E-type, which actually used glassfibre panels screwed into the stock bodywork... seen here at Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2009...

I concur. I've seen that thing a couple of times in the flesh, it's in Guysons (the blast cabinet manufacturer) entrance foyer in Skipton, I don't remember what it's got to do with them though do you? Unless they were just unfortunately saddled with it after a Poker game went wrong or something.....

It was the owner of Guyson who crashed his E-type (near Wetherby) and decided to get it rebodied. Bear in mind this was at a time when the car was not in great demand so not seen as the sacrilege it is now.

Although it certainly hasn't aged well there apparently is not a lot required to revert it back to how it was.

If it's still in Skipton I might bob out this afternoon to see if I can see anything.

Apparantly the doors rot quickly and being a unique design are really difficult to get hold of now

Are they not MG Midget items?

Was out with the camera today at an abandoned airfield & buildings and came across this in a hangar, any ideas?

Interesting place, not that far from me. There's a lot less of that Sunbeam Talbot remaining, compared to when I last saw it. There also used to be a Ford 1172cc-powered generator in the same building, long since "removed" I think.

I really like the look of this and am sad enough to prefer it to the look of a v12 e-type.

I have no taste I know, but it would be a real shame if it was 'restored' and its history lost

I only live in Harrogate, I wonder if guysons will lend it to me......... smile

If Guysons got any sense he'll give it to you. hehe

I'd be interested to read how you get on if you go, if you ring and speak to reception she will tell you if it's there as it's outside her office.
I would have thought it was though at this time of the year, it's always there when i've been.

Erm, I'm not sure you've got this.

1) It's very debatable as a classic
2) It doesn't look like it's been left to die
3) It doesn't look very rotten

Re 1 - all pre-shark-mouth Peugeots are classics.
2/3 - agreed. Looks a very nicely looked after example.
