I am sure these are the same cars which were discovered in the 80s, when the prices started to rocket and the then owner moved them. I have an article about it in an old supercar classics magazine ill try and scan in.

So very much known, but not available.
Good info. Would be interesting to see the article if you can find it.

My first guess was that it was somewhere like Cyprus or Malta, but then I wondered if somewhere like Kenya.

What puzzles me is the modern ish Jags, the UK reg Audi and the Australian car (white one, Holden of some sort?).

We need answers!!

I thought that white car was some kind of Datsun (or Toyota Crown) rather than a Holden. Has to be Europe somewhere, especially given the RO80 lurking in the background. Those wankle engines wouldn't have made it out of the continent. My guess would also be Cyprus

The really rusty ones are in the south of Cyprus and were originally Turkish cars that were left in the exodus of Turks from the south to the north when the Turks attacked... They are on British military land at present and probably always will be. I have other photographs, of buses and motorbikes, too.

The newer ones are in the south, about five miles from the border of south to north.

Golf GTi left rotting in our car park, apparently the owner has died and the council don't know what to do about it. It's been parked up for quite a while now and the inside is covered in mould, could be easy to get it roadworthy but I suspect the admin would be a nightmare so it'll no doubt sit there for years. Either that or one of the friendly youths will set it on fire.

Spotted this mk1 fiesta, very presentable house and they even cut the grass around it.
Assuming it has sentimental value, but there's no need to leave it on the grass the drive was massive!

I am forever feeling guilty about this car, because I pass it about twice a week and never report it on PH. If anyone's interested in the car, contact me and I can have a word with the owners - although I don't know them very well. I've lived about a mile away for 25 years!
