Demonstrates that some cars could be improved by being left to die / rot?

I picture a suave sophisticate from the outer London suburbs with a good education, a good job and an amusing taste in pastel trousers.

Believe it or not, this is the roof of a Triumph Dolomite, which has been almost completely buried in a hollow, in woodland near Godstone. I've been cycling past it for at least 15 years, and I suspect it has been there a lot longer.

Me too. It's similar to a 400i without the ugly buttresses. A much better shape. The XJS to me, seemed to be an almost good-looking car, but just didn't quite get there.

Newbie here, great thread. Not sure if this has been posted before, it's not moved from under that tarpaulin for at least 10 years. The rear lights and bumper used to be exposed so I could see what it was.

Any guesses?
