Thanks, see it now. Yes, does have the feel of a Roller. Wow, would never have spotted that in there.

Exactly what I was going to say! I mean, show us the car and I'm sure I'll ID it for you hehe but at the moment…...

Immediately to the left of the green bush on the right of the photo, around centre, you can just see the C pillar, back of the side window and side of the back window. Vaguely RR Silver Shadow in appearance. Large wooden box/piece of furniture in centre left is on the bootlid.
rofl Got there in the end but I almost gave up! I had to look many times. Well done to whoever actually spotted it in the first place!

FHC are starting to become sought after as they make good weekend comp cars. Also there are less of them than the DHC. That one looks half decent from that distance.

I SEE IT >>>> I SEE IT!!! RR is the best guess I think. But is there another car in the next compartment of the building? I'm seeing the lower parts of N/S A,B&C posts. 'Auntie' Rover or a Morris MO perhaps.

Saw a beige Gilbern Invader estate in a sorry state. Half concealed in overgrowth in a front garden.

Sorry no pic due to it being on a customers property.

I don't think I posted these before, apologies if I did....

The registration doesn't come up on DVLA or Cartell, so probably been untaxed since at least 1980.

Not many clues to help identify this one from the front.

Someone got it from the rear quarter shot though. This and the Cambridge were in the rear garden of a house that'd been unoccupied for 30-40yrs.

These two might stretch the definition of classic for some of you.....

Dornier.

The glass framing gives it away.

Very sad to see it in that condition, I remember this car from Steve White's ownership in the late 1980s. It had an under bonnet fire and he did a really nice rebuild on it. Had a couple more owners in the Yorkshire area before I lost track of it in the mid 1990s. Hope it gets saved soon.

Oliver.
Thanks for posting Oliver. That photo is a couple of years old, the car's not there on Google Streetview; I will have to check to see if it's still out there when I am passing.

Spotted this Lotus at a local Alfa Romeo specialist. Guy buys up lots of scrap Alfas for parts and has them lying around a yard.

Not sure why the lotus was amongst them, maybe his familiarity with unreliable motors.

Well if the car upkeep is the same as the house it could be there for a long while yet.
