What have we got here then ?

Obviously a mini on the right. Is that a Merlin body on the ground ? And a Lancia on the trailer ?

I had a mate with no clue about car restoration. He bought an Interceptor that needed a whole bunch of stuff doing to it but before he had even cleaned it to see what was what, he put it into a body shop for a respray. Anything that needed to be done after that, like dealing with the fully stted up engine bay, put the respray in jeopardy.

Looks completely different with the huge glass rear window absent.

Afternoon.

Not looked in for a while as been very busy but I am working in Mali at the moment and have grabbed a couple of shots of some old 2cv's that are parked up here, they look great!

So much character to these old girls, most are in use too, except the obvious ones.

I was thinking the GRP shell is an Arkley or possibly a Lightspeed Magenta, but not convinced about either.

Not an Arkley, they were more stumpy than that.

I love that top picture - is it possible to obtain a print or something? BTW some your other pics are a bit alarming - WTF is going on there?

Ha, yes out of context they may appear a little alarming! I guess you are talking about pictures from a training session to teach people about threats and realities of kidnap and terrorist attack, can be quite realistic! I'm here photographing the training of UN troops and staff, it can be a little dodgy here.

Send me an email through my website if you're interested in a print, it's no problem.

Cheers

Mat

My initial guess would be a Cortina Mark 3.

My thought too - possibly a two-door. The trailing edge of the roof line seems like a give-away

Pretty sure it's a four door, the ratio of front to rear door dimensions being the give away. (Mark 3 Cortina was the first car I ever lusted after, at age 7 paperbag)
