The rear quarterlite looks too big to be a two door Cortina. Looks more like it could be a Saab 99.

Cortina was my first though, but I agree the rear quarter looks too big.

Marina coupe?

Ooh! I'm not the only one thinking Marina, then?

My initial guess would be a Cortina Mark 3.
Spooky.

I saw a 2 door mk3 earlier and immediately thought of this pond the pic.

Don't think it's a 99.

The front door's not long enough to be a 2 door Granada or Cortina IMO.

First thought..... MKIII Cortina 4 door. Intersection of the doors and the profile of the rear quarter looked just right.

But I do support the Marina idea, except for that vent showing on the rear quarter. - So perhaps that would make it an Ital.

Haven't entirely ruled out that it is an Allegro 4 door!

Is it a Manta or perhaps a Barracuda?

That's a Marina coupe, definitely.

Don't think so. No vents in rear pillar, door pillars are quite wide and no quarter light.

My money's on Cortina mk3 based on the width of the roof pillar at the top and the lack of quarterlight on the back door.

Don't know if it really counts as a classic but this is a pleasing little tableau on the farm of our neighbour in the Dordogne;

My thought too - possibly a two-door. The trailing edge of the roof line seems like a give-away
Pretty sure it's a four door, the ratio of front to rear door dimensions being the give away. (Mark 3 Cortina was the first car I ever lusted after, at age 7 paperbag)
I'm thinking 4 door mk 3 too. Profile doesn't lend itself to the 2 door.

Can't upload a link for some reason but via Jonny Smith's Twitter feed it links to a LDN24 article showing car in full:

A mk3 Cortina! (which they have called 'vintage')

I try not to think of Allegros.
