There's one similar to that laid up on a driveway down the road from me, I've been passing it for the last six years and it has never moved. I keep meaning to stop and knock the door and ask about it, but daren't in case I end up buying it.
So tell some one else where it is, they can offer to buy it and save you the dilemma smile
Sorry, hadn't noticed this. It's in South Wales in Llangeinor on the road up into the Garw valley

This is how my brother and I found our BMW 5 years ago. It hadn't been on the road for 15 years and all we got was what you see on the picture. All other parts were missing.

Luckily we were able to save this one.

Not sure if it qualifies for classic status?
It has the dreaded Selespeed badge so it could explain it's fate?

Hampstead ponds;

Asides from all of the "What car is it?" aspect, how the Hell did it wind up that far into the pond? confused
If the windows are up when it's pushed in a car can float out a reasonable distance before enough air escapes for it to sink.

Either that or it entered the water by some sort of Dukes of Hazzard jump! smile

Re: the TVR in Llangeinor as seen on Google Streetview, dated 2011, it's still there. (Sorry I don't know how to get a picture off Streetview, hence the link)

Laugh all you like but there was an exhaust manifold specialist near Swindon who made the manifolds and systems for Ford when they were developing the running gear for the Cosworth Sierra. The two or three mule vehicles supplied by Ford were Mk5 Cortinas.
I have been racking my brains trying to remember the name of the exhaust specialist as this all happened thirty something years ago. He was fabricating an exhaust system for us for a Ginetta G12 with a two litre Lotus twin cam.

Len Hartley was the chap in question; sadly passed away a good few years ago.
In a nicely circular way, I had an custom exhaust manifold made for my Sunbeam rally car in 1994 by Dave Tyler who traded as Len Hartley Developments. The engine? A Cosworth Sierra motor minus the turbo

MK1 OR MK2 jag body's he'll probably destined for a Banger track at some point. Appears to be a pretty solid shell with a couple of rusty areas, it has been there a while now.

Is that a psychedelic paint job or just corrosion? Surprised 60s cars are still being bangered.

They have sixties only meetings which is quite sickening really.
Looks like paint was rubbed down for paint and has been left so bit of surface rust bit of primer and some colour.

Looks like the paint had been removed but then it should be coveted in rust.

They'll banger anything ,they don't care for values of classics.
