Lada Niva? And a Maestro van the other side of the Samara. A neighbour of mine 20-odd years ago had a Samara, same colour too. Heap of junk.

I'd much rather have had an Estelle. At least they handled OK and had significant motorsport pedigree.

I was in Monaco last week. We parked in an underground car park which had a lock up of lots of dying cars. I didn't get to properly look around, most of them were boring, modern every day cars but the best I saw was a Ferrari 360, Ferrari 550 Maranello and a Rolls Royce Phantom. Most of them had the doors open, and some had the bonnets open too. They were all covered in thick dust, it was obvious that the majority haven't moved in years. I don't know why they were there, whether they had been seized by police years ago or just forgotten about - it was quite spooky and haunting though.
The only decent one I managed to photograph was the Ferrari 550 Maranello.

Just seemed such a shame to me, to see a beautiful modern classic like this left to be consumed by dust!

Didn't Jenson Button's dad lose a 550 in Monaco?

Never heard that one, though it would seem fitting haha. Real shame though, such a fantastic car!

Parked in the corner of a proper old village cricket club in deepest Kent where I was playing today. Christ only knows what it is/was.

Looks like it may have been used to flatten the pitch.

Stick a bugatti build plate on it and it'll be worth a fortune.

Nice bit of shed engineering though...The seat looks particularly comfy.

It could be a Pattisson or similar. H Pattisson & Co Ltd (of Stanmore, Middlesex) made light tractors for sports grounds and golf courses, mostly from early Ford car components.

They and the house look in too good nick to be "left to die/rotting".

Spotted this just north of Quito in Ecuador last week. Looks like an Austin Westminster or Cambridge, but it has a Morris badge on the front. Couldn't get close enough to make out the badge on the side. Maybe it was some South American model?
