Is that a recent photo? There are other photos of it on the net (N London) from 2014 where it shows it in that state and then with a terrible respray with rust and holes showing through.

This was taken in December 13, I did try and contact the owner with a veiw to purchase but just missed out as a deposit had been taken.

Can you get new/NOS wings? Wonder where the originals have gone. Oh, and having had a red E30 myself, I recommend a respray in a darker colour that doesn't fade to a pastel pink every day the sun shines. Doesn't matter how much you polish them, they always fade. The number of times I wished my red steel-wheeled 318iT was a dark blue or dark green 325iT on cross-spokes...

IIRC with those wheels it's the V12.

Put me straight, iva.
Don't know, need a Jag beard to answer that.

My only view was from a traffic jam in SE1.

The bottom corner of the door seems to fit rather badly, actually looked like it wasn't shut fully.
I can't see a leaper on the bonnet which could make it a Daimler. Then it'd be a Double Six if it's a V12.
It's a Jaguar (you can tell from the hub caps and radiator) and it's 4.2l 6 cylinder (the V12 had a slightly different radiator with a V12 badge on it)

56 GOU doesn't seem to exist on either the MOT database or the DVLA car check?

I'm sure it will be rebuilt to it's former glory, hasn't been on the road for a while though.

This will be a Jaguar XJ 4.2 C - so a six cylinder. The V12 has a largish plaque in the centre of its grille proclaiming "V Twelve".

The Daimler version has the Daimler fluted grille with vertical slats only. The DD6 is identified by a round V12 badge in place of the standard Daimler 'D'.

The wheels look correct for the 4.2C
