Hi!

This isn't a classic car but I spotted this after walking through a public footpath of a 16th Century cottage. Seems like the cottage was abandoned at the same time.

Audi Allroads being a good example also, they're being scrapped in droves.

Certainly the most unreliable 4x4 on my driveway. It's cost me a fortune to keep on the road. Been a good workhorse though, when it's working properly.

That maybe geographical, I could hit two with a brick from where I'm sitting (not mine...& that 's not an offer biggrin) - regarding the "too complicated, they'll all get scapped", that arguement has been rolled out since the invention of the horse shoe! There'll always be someone who can find a way of fixing them, CANBUS or not, it'll be whether anyone wants to...

Agree -plentttttty of X5s about and agree on "horse shoe complexity" .It's quite trendy to knock technology and everything else about modern cars.
My brother has fixed a few and says parts prices for X5s take the mick - but that may be norm anyway for this type of car

I bet most are bought simply on the reassurance of the Audi badge .
And i guess resale values will be good despite the aggro.

This is a Midget, it too has a hardtop! The car behind is a Sunbeam Alpine.

Both cars will one day be on the road again. Honestly!

It's been there a long time: we've lived in the area since 2001 & it's been there pretty much since then.

I'll check. My brother lives in Alresford and had his Cooper S in a lock up and the Midget I'm thinking of was en route there.
