Classics left to die/rotting pics

I posted up this photo, sat unloved and unused on someone's driveway for the last few years.
I managed to save it, and after a little bit of work, it is now back on the road.
I'm now torn though, as it needs a couple of wings and ideally a respray, and I can't really afford to carry on with it due to other projects and commitments
I think of selling, then I have thoughts about breaking it, as the running gear would go in to my 123 Estate..... I'm really struggling with this one

Don't break it! If you want to V8-swap your W123, there must be enough rusted-out W210 E430s and E55s you could plunder...

It would be a crying shame to brake that after such a fine rescue effort, have you no small children you could sell?
I know I really want a V8 123 one way or another, but I keep looking for small replacement bits for this!I think I'll need to sell it sooner rather than later, but I'm enjoying it at the minute.
If only the paintwork was as good as the interior!
One of my mates has just mentioned the Retro Rides show next weekend, I think it would be nice to waft there in this

This Saab has been here for years, outside the spookiest house in the area. There are other cars and a caravan hiding in the shrubbery.

You're right, that house does look spooky!

it'd be like painting the Forth bridge, by the time you'd finished T-cutting it the first bit would have turned pink again
My brother had a red BMW 2002 years ago and it was fine except for one panel; the boot lid used to fade. Polish it back to match the other panels and then it would fade again. He took it to a body shop to ask about respraying it and they told him to save his money and keep polishing.sim16v said:

I'd forgotten Merc used to know what the word 'elegant' means. That's a lovely car. I managed to save it, and after a little bit of work, it is now back on the road.

It seems a terrible shame to break it.
