Spotted this Daimler Dart yesterday during the delightful weather and when avoiding the carnage at the Dartford tunnel, from the fleeting glance it looked in rather a sorry state.

ETA: Few interesting things on the second floor of that Japanese Auto store also.

From eye level, and due to the angle of the garage in both directions, this is a blink and you'll miss it car, but the whale tail caught my eye so I got into google maps. It's in a now closed garage and appears to have been there for a few years. I'm betting the owner knows not of the current Cosworh ford prices boom!

You must have driven past on the weekend, the garage certainly isn't closed. They work on some very intresting cars in the week and they certainly know the value of cosworths. Granted I've know the garage over 5 years and never see the escort move though.

Spotted this the other day and forgot about it, just south of Elephant and Castle, looks like it has been there for ages but can't have been (I walk past every 3 months) however it looks too crusty to be in use...

Ah right, the building is owned by the garage next door is it. Well, in which case then the abandoned Cossie makes no sense to me. I had another look over the weekend it's certainly not too far gone to be saved. Shame.

Bit more rotten and a little less classic this morning. What do you think they were?

Think the first one may have been an 80's Escort?

The second one looks like the back of a pick-up.

The top one looks like it was cut to pieces and dumped. Suspension turrets still in place dangling from the dampers?

Used for an ID swap?

Not a FWD Escort - the exhaust manifold is rearwarads - if that is the steering column sticking up.

And the tops of the suspension turrets look very Maestro like - http://www.maestro.org.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=...

That Jag is probably rusted beyond belief under the outwardly OK bodywork... shame, it's just the kind of project I'd take on if I had space...
