The Bentley posted by BalmoralG set me thinking - How many different Estate conversions can you think of that were never officially produced. No semantics,- it's just a game smile

There's all the Abbott Farnham Fords as well, based on the Consul etc., and I know of one XK150 estate. I'll get to thinking some more.

but why are they known as Shooting Brakes??

A brake was a type of horse-drawn wagon, a shooting brake was a horse-drawn wagon with seats that was used to transport shooting parties out to the fields. When horsepower replaced horses the term continued to be used for the coachbuilt vehicles that were used for the same purpose.

And the best of the bunch . . . . . The Jerrari 365GT, built by William Harrah out of a 365GT and IIRC a Jeep Wagoneer, theres also one done with a Ford Bronco

TR7 Tracer by Crayford.....




and BLs own still born take on the next generstion of TR7s.....



better than the Crayford attempt for sure. Even the convertible would have been better received than the original.
