No leaks even in the biggest downpours, It was pouring down on my way home from Wilton House car show last week and not a drop came in , they are known for leaks but it seems I have a good one
great I'll tell my mate he thinks they all leak

usual thing I'd guess it all depends on it's previous and present owner for how good and reliable vehicles are

She's lovely, does she have a name?

I've avoided modifying mine, Moggington, I like him just the way he is.

Shes called Gillian only a few mods- cd player, spaxs front suspension and marina disc brakes waiting to be fitted - the only reason shes being modified a little as she is my daily drive and the drum brakes do not perform well on country roads

if the tyres are old or little used they could hard and well passed their best regardless of the amount of tread on them

the tyres effect the braking, steering, roadholding, ride comfort and noise - also need correct pressure usually for modern tyres 2-6 psi above Driver's Handbook spec

...and another forwarded by a friend of mine who attended an event the other week. (Don't know much about the car except the owner very kindly let my friend have a little drive of it. Brave man!)

Humm... I will always have a soft spot for the 924 Turbo, one was my first properly fast car. And before anyone contradicts they were genuinly fast back in the early 80s biggrin

If you read the mags from the time they agree with yousmile They still can be pretty quick with a decent chauffeur and tyre/suspension uppgrade. There have been more than on GT3/997/996/boxster etc etc than has been hugely surprised when a 924 filled their rear view mirror:

Film from the ring, a bit of traffic...

924 vs drivers instructor in GT3 RS smile

Enough of spamming, its a great car, so much fun, a bit of turbo lag but that only adds to the fun smile
