Well if we're posting shots of our cars at Reims here's my Elise next to a random French couple with a Cobra and a Mustang:

My be it's my age, but that model has definitely improved with age. Looks so lithe compared with today's enormous Ferraris.

Certainly has, I loathed the Mondial when new but now would actively pursue one.

I recall as a kid in London August 82 (I think), there was a shiny black example must have been days old stopped at a set of traffic lights. A luminous cyclist wobbled and fell sideways donking the Fezza's wing. The owner tooted and went on his way, but that was it.....as a provincial kid I was quite shocked at "London life", this would have been a massive deal back home.

Fairly classic? Extremely classic, I'd say. Can't remember the last time I saw a SEAC. They've started to age very, very nicely...and yours look superb. Thanks for posting!

FATHER DOUGAL: "Unbelievable Ted! What were the chances of that? - Both of us buying the only Corvette on the island!"

Fabulous and I am a sucker for Blue..Wheels really make it look the biz. Never a fan of wedges but always loved the SE and SEAC's they seem to get better looking as the years pass..

Mines Blue as well.. smile

Found this when I took the dust cover off the Beast earlier. Who's a pretty boy then? Odd thing is, there weren't any trails on the car anywhere - believe me, I looked - so how did he get there. My pal said 'fancy taking a picture while being overtaken by a Frenchman'...

Earliest convertible in the UK? It would be good to know any early examples.

Edited for Eccles : The earliest (surviving) (Triumph Herald) convertible in Europe?

Are you boys going to run in the Academy or in the Speedwell class?
Looks lovely... I've got a long way to go before it looks like that. The original intention was for Academy. How about you?
