Some truly superb motors in this thread, and all who have contributed have my utmost admiration and respect for keeping their magnificent machines on the road. Here's my tuppence worth: 1997 DB7 (wife's fun car).... [url]

This is my very rare spanish built Authi Mini Van 1000. One of 1200 built, before the factory went up in flames and closed.
It was used by Olympic Airways inside the old Hellinikon Airport in Athens for over 30 years.
I used to see these cars in the Airport as a Yyoungster and always wanted one. Most of them were scrapped when the Airport closed. This is one of the very few survivors.
I bought it in a very sorry state and finished the resto last year. I though it would be easy but most electrical commponets for example were made by FEMSA and not Lucas. I had to search high and low in Spanish add sites to find the correct parts.
Went back to the old abandoned Olympic airport terminal for some pics. It might soon get demolished.

This is my 1959 Chevy Impala that I've owned since 1989. I'm missing it at the moment as a friend is kindly storing it until the garage at my new home is extended to accommodate its rather long length. I am missing my V8 fix and rowing through the four speed! I also have a 1959 Anglia 105E which is possibly the earliest one still on the road and is unrestored. Now I need to find a photo!
Gentlemen.
A few pictures for your enjoyment of a recent visit by Jim Cameron of "mission motorsport" which is a charity we should all support, and Mr Ben Williams with whom you are well acquainted, being the passionate petrol head that he is!
We had a great time showing off and revving our engines in a completely unnecessary manner, to the delight of the local populace!
I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed taking them.
There will be video footage of our fun and games to follow once eldest son has finished editing!
