1967 Camaro convertible with a 460ci engine & 4 speed manual gearbox.

1960 series 2.. My favourite vehicle. smile

1982 stage 1 v8 still slowly being rebuilt. I bought this off ebay a few years ago but was mugged, it had been very abused & the front axle needed a new casing, shafts & diff, also the gear box was shot. I had no idea it was a stage 1 at the time & neither did the seller. The fact it is a stage 1 is the only thing that saved it from Land Rover heaven. Hopefully it will be on the road in time for summer, just need to pull my finger out a bit, or rather a lot.

This thread needs more Landies,

Nice, I do love an old Landie. Did you paint that with ex-army desert sand? Just wondering because I have 10 litres that I'm thinking of spraying the stage 1 with. It's a bit to dented to spend a lot of money on nice shiny paint so toying with the cheap desert sand idea.

That bike was going so fast that it bounced over here from the amusing situations thread. Nutters, eh?

The desert sand paint was applied (quite well), apparently by hand by the previous owner, who also applied a British Airborne Pegasus badge which I removed as this is a farm truck, not a soldierlandy. I have some aerosols of sandy paint to top up the dings. The interior, which has no trim whatsoever, is still painted farmer blue. I put in new PVC posh version seats and side benches in the back, and seat belts too to keep mothers happy. The Landy is enormously good fun, and I love the fact that the basic technique for fixing it is to hit it with a big hammer. Old Landies are plentiful in north Norfolk where it lives.

Oh ok thanks, I wasn't sure if you'd done it again after the previous owner. They are brilliant machines arn't they. I bought my 1960 about 6 years ago & after getting in it for the 120 mile drive home thought, why the hell did I buy this, I hated it. But by the time I got home my feelings had totally changed & I'd fallen in love with it.

I'm a big fan of the early impact bumper 911's, that must be a '74 2.7 Carrera or a Carrera 3.0

Here is a couple of my old Porkers...

'77 Carrera 3.0

'92 964 RS

and my current summer car, hopefully soon to be a classic, deserves to be on looks alone...

Know what you mean...

That's bloody lovely that.

Fantasy garage - sod all (well most of) the exotica - Quick Mini, CamperEarlyBay Westy, old 911, Guilia Coupe Alfa. Job done.
yessmile
Ferg, I was going to put 'early Bay' rather than Camper, but thought it'd appear too anal. Still, I've got one out of my four must have motors, and step dad has a '79 911 SC and Alfa GT Junior so it's only a matter of time for those. Mwaaaahaaahaaa! Need to get on the Camper case though.

This is cheating, as the photo below is a stock image from the net, but my 1977 Alfa Spider 2000 Veloce used to look like this one not very long ago, and I hope that it will again, but it is presently sleeping in a shed, and needs a fair amount of work to recommission it.
