I wonder what your favourite colour is?

Must be difficult deciding which one of those beauties to pick when you want to go for a blast.

I love that, my brother has the 2.6 version, I think they are so cool!
Thanks, I know what you mean. Didn't spot a decent 2.6 at a good price, but this was near and serviced regularly so brought it home 😀. Would love a cossie, but big money these days.

My old e12 with new stripes smile
Love it!

My first ever BMW was an 8year old 1981 E12 520 (six cylinder) in Kastanienrot Metallic (chestnut red metallic), black velour interior, and Zender spoilers front and rear.

Hardly anybody who got in it could figure out how to get back out again as they couldn't find the cunningly positioned interior door handles!
Thanks smile , I absolutely love it, it's a great drive too which completes it for me.....once you readjust your senses to the definition of braking and grip of course smile

I have actually had her adjusting the Megasquirt fuelling in the TVR whilst I was driving around after it was first installed smile

I have had some awkward questions from guys at work though when the saw the 'Megasquirt' folder on my desktop hehe

My dad had a new one back in the day. Pre facelift E reg, blue black metallic 2.6 Auto. Drank like a thirst fish I remember but a real top quality wafter. I was an angry 17 year old with a series of noisy hatches at the time but when I got a chance to drive the Merc, it was just such a pleasure just slipping it into Drive, left elbow on the armrest and just purring along looking down the bonnet past the star.

Took it for a little exercise this morning. Such a relaxing comfortable drive ought to use it more.

Taken at the Spring Alfa Day at Beaulieu, yesterday - something like 800 Alfas present, in lovely spring sunshine.
This diminutive gathering of boat-tails was supposed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Duetto.

What a wonderful looking machine! As much as I'd love an E sadly I don't think my bank balance will ever reach the heights required to buy myself one.

Thought I'd post up a surprisingly pretty photo of my lowly Series 3 I took yesterday
