Nice pair.

Would be a greater picture without the van in the background though.
vpr - my comment wasn't meant to cause offence, sincere apology if it was. I merely meant that the two cars look fantastic and the picture would make a great screensaver other than the van in the background.

Lovely pair of classics. Great comparison between the US & UK styles of the period. Which is yours?
The Vette is mine but the E belongs to my Wife.

Totally different style of driving as you can imagine. The Etype is a perfect car though tight for 6.2" me. I cannot imagine how utterly awesome these must have been in their day, even by todays standard they are so easy to drive.

The Vette on the other hand with it's massively torquey 427 V8 on relatively skinny tyres is far less connected. Great fun trying to tame the beast. I love it for all it's American brashness

Given the trouble it's caused, the van needs a picture all of its own hehe

Acquired a gorgeous little TR6 at the weekend, so was a good excuse to have all the classics out the garages, and together on the drive...

Stag, TR6, Jensen and the Beetle.

Lovely.

I'll take them off your hands in the sequence 3, 2, 1, 4 please.

I was talking about it with the guy who trailered it home for me.

He moves a lot of classic cars about and he reckoned mine was so good because there was lots of wood lying around the car in the previous owner's garage, which he reckons absorbs moisture and helps keep it off the car.

I have no idea if that's true, but there could be something in it, I suppose..?
Oh, they had a Morgan too?

Great collection!

Must be a difficult decision on a nice morning which one to take.

Actually its the Beetle parked outside work today tongue out

I don't fit in the TR6 - bit of a issue really, but to be expected at 6ft5. So that one is solely Dads runaround.

Edit... Thought I'd also add a photo of the latest member of the family. This one is so new it's not even home yet. 1963 original 1071cc Cooper S.

Well, as a Triumph fan, I'd take the Jensen!!

It's funny. I've always thought of the Interceptor as being quite a big car but it actually looks smaller than the Stag.

There this thing called perspective...

But I know what you mean, there's an Interceptor I see quite frequently and it's not *that* big.
