OOI what do you have? Physical bolts or is it wired to your alarm? I'm moving house soon and need to improve the security at the new garage.
Car has approved immobiliser & tracker. Disk lock too. A couple of other tricks We bought a new build so garage is integrated into monitored house alarm.
Horman powered doors are very difficult to force upwards.
Where we live is quiet but we all know how much these cars are worth in spares alone.

Thanks. My new garage is a triple but only the centre door is powered. I am considering "Enfield bolts" at each lower corner and, of course, rigging it to the house alarm.
Just risk asses it. My job means I do this naturally & tend to border on paranoid..lolI won't detail what measures I've taken to protect us / the house
PS. Multiple doors are better.
PPS. If it's not too late, get a pit put in during the build & if it's single skin, get the outside coated in Stormdry & the interior insulated with batons, insulation boards & a ply wood skin

It's not a new build but a new to me garage (and house) so I'll go for a 4 x post lift rather than a pit. It's a pretty standard single skin brick built affair with open roof trusses. I had thought about lining the inside so glad you mentioned that. Guess I will have to line the inside of the roof too but for the lift I cannot have a ceiling. PS. Multiple doors are better.

Anyway, I'm in danger of going off topic so I'll put a chat on DIY section once I move in.
