Picked up this little piece of brown leyland lovelyness on the weekend, well chuffed I now have a Triumph from the 50's, 60's and 70's to choose from when going for a spin smile . Drove faultlessly on its 170 mile run home to London.

My sister inherited Grandad's Triumph 1500 FWD L reg as her first car in the 70s.

She spent about 50p in maintenance in the years she had it.

This little Toledo has been well looked after having had 1 lady owner for the first 35 years of its life. It's solid as a rock and looks to have never been welded. The full length webasto roof is going to be a nice touch in the summer, number plate is a bit dubious

It has a hint of 1100/1300 about it in that pic.

Might be just me, but the track looks too narrow to be a V12 S3 FHC. Also tyres look skinny and bonnet looks to be missing the flared wheel-arches. Still ridiculous though!

Part way through me completing the restoration of my S3 2+2 I placed the Midget engine in the engine bay of the E, took some photos and sent them off to a Jaguar Club for publication. I received a Fatwah from the Jag brigade, until I pointed out it was April. Below are pic's of the car with its proper bitssmile Oh and the tyres are correct at 205 vr 70 15.
