You can tell the difference between 2½ litre and 3½ litre by the width of the radiator.
The 3½ is slightly wider.

My car is a 2½ litre. It was rescued from a scrap yard in 1964. Compare the performance of the two cars against the Park Ward Bentley here: http://www.nostalgiatech.co.uk/ss_jaguar.htm

Compare it with a "modern" here: http://www.nostalgiatech.co.uk/New%20page%2013.htm

Peter

A 3½ litre

Oh yes... they're refurbished Mayfair seats, same size as the horrible velour covered efforts which came with the car...!

Matching rear going in after the festive booze has worn off, the rear quarter trim panels are a right b*st*rd to fit... hehe

All the exposed / painted metal inside will be covered up with black vinyl and a new alcantara headling will go in asap.

I't's all down to the Giulia in the Time for Tea video. He saw it and fell in love. We saw the car for sale and it fell into his budget for he had for a first car. Since then he saves up for mods, don't worry all old parts come off and can be put back as before, so far Alfaholics suspension kit and wheels, refinished the engine bay, new rear floor pans, door cards, fuse box and a new head linning. New carpets to follow. Carbs converted to twin dollorto on standard 1300 engine. It goes very well for a 46 year old car and does draw a lot of attention! With values creeping up quit a sensible choice, and he'll learn plenty as really nice to work on...And it keeps my S2 Spider company.

When I took my Giulietta daily hack in for some suspension work during the Summer there was a lovely Giulia Berlinetta parked up awaiting its MOT, it was in a sort of metallic copper shade and looked beautiful, so pretty in the metal despite its boxy proportions.

Spent another few sovs on the Jap Mini today, took the Mk3 5''x10'' Cosmics off in lieu of a set of shiny Mk2 6''x10''s...

Another "Sunday Car" from about six years ago.

A 1955 Sunbeam-Talbot "90",Mk.3,re-named the Supreme the next year I believe.

A lovely car to drive with a 2.2 litre,90 b.h.p. engine it went like a train.

Smooth column gearchange with the usual problem of dropping out of third gear on the overrun.

I don't know about using a knee.

We always used an aerolastic clipped to the interior mirror!

High tech or what?
