Never heard anyone go that for on a 308's shape. Compared to the Spifire and Concorde! The Dino yes, but not this. Respect to your personal liking, of course.
It just does it for me.

Hi, I'm new here. Don't know if this is old enough to qualify, but I like to think it's a modern classic at least. It's in clean condition and absolutely stock. I'm second owner. '95 BMW E36 M3.
Coming up to 22yrs old and not messed with. Can't be many like that.Edited by Bm_driver on Thursday 19th January 12:42

o take it up with NCAP, they gave it 1.5 stars in the same year they gave 1 star to the Rover 100.
I think folks should look at the full list of NCAP results for 1996/97, as I said earlier, most stuff was poor, so why single out an old Metro when it just shared space at the bottom with cars who's almost equally poor performance is surely more worthy of comment when you consider what brand and what generation they were.

I thought about this thread over on the 2 star Euro NCAP rating for the Ford Mustang in GG.

My partner had one when I met her five years ago. It was well maintained but handled terribly, never felt safe and as both of us are a fair bit north of 6ft we felt like we were driving Noddy's car around. That said she had it three years and sold it for a profit. She reckoned an MOT had never set her back more than £150, including the odd spare part and new tyre.
Funnily enough the car was Christened "Bertie".
There are many legitimate criticisms of the Metro but handling isn't one of them; how old were the tyres? My brother had a MG Metro in the early 90s and it stuck to the road like st to a blanket.Funnily enough the car was Christened "Bertie".

Conversely I remember a track day at Castle Combe back in the late 90s where 2 lads were there in their mums MG Metro. We watched as it started to hop around the last corner the hopping ghetto got worse and worse until it rolled, the passengers video camera coming out the window and being crushed by the car.
Later they were seen pushing the mangled car into a hedge just outside the curcuit...
