It’s a V12
Just back from paint. Already converted to manual, uprated suspenders and PAS valved. Plus loads more.

And loads more to go. Wheels are not staying. Only on for sizing.

Oh and a saucy exhaust. Sounds epic.

Like that a lot! Manual conversion one of the best mods you can make. Hopefully he's gone for the Bilsteins when upgrading the suspension thumbup
Yeah, coilovers. Makes a huge difference

I knew it could be made to drive like a sports car because I had a Lister and that was quite superb

I've got the B6s with shorter eibach springs on a couple of mine and it does make a huge difference, one was essentially to replace the 'sport pack' suspension which is just like the XJR-S set up, and I'm guessing the revalved steering rack is along a similar vein. I do like the wheels too, I think that style an inch smaller would be spot on, although I know its not available

I've not driven a Lister, but one of mine is somewhat wider than standard, and doesn't quite have the same sweetness down B-roads as a standard width car. They can be a lot more sporting than people would expect if set up right, and a lot of fun.

What a 911 should look like.

Absolutely, amazingly capable

It’s what really surprised me with the Lister and I’m used to some proper cars on track but when I took the lister around Brands I was almost in shock at how good it handles.

Just needed a modern itb set up.

If you're interested, have a look at Mobeck Tekniske, as they doing a modern injection set up and a lot of other mods for the Jag V12 (and a step up on the Bilsteins too). I'm hoping to test out their set up on one of my car at some point soon.

I think my son is into this firm.

Iirc they do an upgrade for the management system but not for his later type.

Yes they're certainly focussing on the pre-HE heads. Maybe worth a chat though, as they seem pretty flexible and keen to develop.

Lovely 550 - sorry for the digression, but is that a Dakar Yellow 1M in the background...?

Nice car, my dad had a pre-Varioram 993 C2 in Guards PinkRed - first 911 I drove, loved the noise you got from that air-cooled 6 pot, the 6 close ratios with which to work it out, not lightning quick but a fun experience to drive cool Just look 'so right' too compared to the bloated whoppers Porsche markets as the "911" nowadays.

That belongs to another one of my nippers. Yes he does but looking to sell it (assuming you mean the 502)?
