Here is some of my current classics:
1971 mini cooper S rep, with and without it's magnetic warpaint! 1380 Swiftune engine, 600kg and full cage etc. Use it for sprints / hillclims as well as taking my daughter to school occasionally. Have had great fun after rescuing it abandoned rotting on a driveway. Won the Brooklands Double Twelve in it 2013, got a second in class at the Crystal Palace Sprint the same year, but this year this happened...........

Diff exploded, quite spetacularly, currently having a new gearbox fitted with a Quaife LSD
That to me is flipping brilliant. Thumbs up for using it properly.1971 mini cooper S rep, with and without it's magnetic warpaint! 1380 Swiftune engine, 600kg and full cage etc. Use it for sprints / hillclims as well as taking my daughter to school occasionally. Thanks Baz, yes that's right indigo blue, a 1960 only colour. All original paintwork on the beetle!
It looks gorgeous, would be great to hear a bit about the car and a few more pics. Are you a member of the Historic VW club?I've always thought that the best Beetles were the small big window models, my two favourite colours are indigo blue and garnet red a 1959 only colour I believe.

That's right Baz, this one was built Dec 59. Certainly is gorgeous, done only 24,000 miles in its 55 years. Never repainted, original engine and interior, lovely....even has an original 55 yr old cross ply tyre (won't be using that!). From Sweden originally, 1st owner had it 40 years.I've always thought that the best Beetles were the small big window models, my two favourite colours are indigo blue and garnet red a 1959 only colour I believe.
Not had it long, will take a few pics if the weather is good at the weekend and post up!
Not a member of any VW clubs as of yet, is it a good club to join?

Can you post some more pics of the 260 . Haven't they aged really really well
They have aged very well, only part that looks a bit dated is the rear taillight panel imo.Actually realised I don't have enough good photos of the Z.
I guess I might be hated for this, but I've just changed this:
