Great car, more pics please. I really like to see cars that were very common in the 70s & 80s but have all disappeared now.

Cars that I wouldn't have looked twice at 30 years ago now have a lot of charm and this is one of the cars I would like to own from the period and if I didn't already have too many cars I would probably already own one and use it everyday.

It's great to see these once-common, but now very rare, cars on the road. Much decried - then and since - but they were the familiar vehicles of my youth and I remember the launch of this.

Good for you for keeping it going and looking so good.

Gorgeous looking car there my man. Nice moody shot too. Looks as if it's flat out even at a standstill. Enzo was right.

My 89 Esprit SE back on the road after an engine out overhaul, tubular manifold and respray.
It's even off road...

Might even be worth more now, but it's a keeper.

Not sure Colin Chapman envisaged his creations becoming iconic off roaders.biggrin

My new acquisition... Sadly in an airchamber until the spring - but lots of chrome to remove and polish merrily over the Christmas break!

Following a tidy up of the bodywork (I am going to post resto photos in the RR & B section or do you want some here?)and bumpers, The Beast is now like new and had a treat with a run out to Germany where a steady 130mph on the Autobahn was most satisfying. Even made 19.8 mpg on the 500 mile trip. 70 mph after 150mph is really slow...

Example of some of the work - got it in time.

Beautiful Chrysler WIndsor. There is just something so right about this era of American cars.

In fact, for me at least, The USA produced some magnificent cars into the 1970s. After that date, my enthusiasm for them wanes.
