The sun is out, so time for some modern classic manual V12 loveliness today I thought.

I'd forgotten how much I love the car, fantastic!

Apologies if I've posted it before, can't remember but entirely possible!

quite lovely - 575m ?? - a friend had one new back-in-the-day - lovely looking thing - but, unfortunately, that particular one was, sadly, built down to 1970's Leyland standard with a multitude of failures and issues - he eventually sued Ferrari and got his money back plus.... but I am sure yours is no problem

Another year – another road trip – but a different car from the fleet.

Ah, Montgomery – where they STILL serve your fuel over the pavement …

went to see the castle too, but it was ruined – must have been all that rain we had last year…smile

Is it a TR of some sort? and what's going on with the windscreen wiper, or is that an optical illusion?

Yes, 575M, with a manual box, lovely to drive and no trouble so far...touches wood!

Thanks, I love it.

There are no rear seats, 575 is a 2 seat V12 GT.

Engine bay shot from when it was detailed a few weeks ago...

My bay looks just like that minus four cylinders;

I needed a novel air intake system after fitting aftermarket aluminium heads which with the matching intake manifold increased the overall height of the engine not allowing fitment of the original air filter housing. That was a mouthful.

Bought this 1976 Cavalier Coupe three weeks ago, been stored in a lock up unused since 2011.
Now recommissioned & MOT'd

As found

Now with MOT & tax, plans are to smoke it around for a few months, take it to the annual VBOA rally at Billing Northants in July & sell it.

Awesome; if only I could find a 2.0 Ascona in similar circumstances.
