Alfaspecial and 1fking you've raised the bar a bit... I'm not posting any more pic's of my stuff until everyone has forgotten these two...

That Auburn is magnificent, but I could find space in my life for that "Alfa".

Love those period accessories - heated screen and locking filler cap. Can't remember who made those caps but they were very popular, had one on my Herald in the 1980s.

It is a WASO locking petrol cap and the heated window is a SMITHS, on the front grill there is a LUCAS single spot light. It's all pure 1960s and on the car from new. everything on her except carpets are original including the soon to go rust!
Thanks for the comments 230TE

Looks great as it is. Who is going to do the work and what is going to be done?

It's having new sills x2, new door tread plate x1, new lower wing repair panels x2 and two new rear arches. Then having it taken back to bare metal and exterior re spray with exception of under bonnet and in boot. Been done bit by bit during its life and needs a smooth finish in its original Royal Blue. Seals and Rubbers also being replaced with new. Work being carried out by Retromarques who lare 500 meters from my home and have given me a great price.

Yep, 3 piece 16" RSs. Swap them around with the original 16" one piece wheels from time to time.

Thought I recognised them- I had a set on my M3 E30 circa 12 years ago. Much missed car, looks great in red.

Hi Stuttgartmetal

It is a 12, and yes, not the original bumper.
It's a temporary fibreglass RS style item, that cane with the car.
Just waiting for paint to be applied to a newly repaired proper front bumper, without overriders.

Thanks

Tony

Looks a really nice car especially on the steels.

Love to see it somewhere.

Took the old girl down to Italian Sunday at Goodwood with the HR Owen guys. I was worried that I wouldn't keep up, but it was a civilised run down and she acquitted herself very well

I agree, there's absolutely nothing appealing about that black one. I assume it's a Ferrari of some sort? Modern stuff like that doesn't interest me...
