Yes, but a relatively rare one: Pistachio Lime Green.

What a fabulous first classic! One of the greatest (perhaps the greatest) sports cars of the 60s and 70s, and still a cracking lightweight flinger-abouter now.

Lovely smile I still miss the one I sold (what was I thinking?) over 20 years ago.

My two, 1910 Torpedo and a 1915 tourer.

The tourer is for sale to be replaced by an early tourer.

Took the '75 Saab 99L Combi Coupe for a weekend in Buxton with Mrs 99t.

Didn't miss a beat all weekend, covered nearly 200 miles including local pottering once there and it started first turn of the key at -2 degrees with half an inch of snow all over!

Not bad for a forty year old that, in all honesty, doesn't get as much maintenance as it probably should do...

Quick phone snap outside B&B

Wow... replacing a 1915 car, for an 'earlier' model coolcool

I really must get on to sorting out my Vauxhall - a 1936 12/6. Spent 30 years sat in a barn. I got the engine running, then started disassembly. Need to get back on it.

A drag racing Splitty? That's bloody marvellous.

What motor does it have in it?

Ha, there are rather a lot of us now :-)

Mine is running 2332cc, Ali race case with lots of goodies topped off with twin 48mm fuel injection setup and makes around 200 HP. Best et so far is 15.1 sec on the qtr which when I first built it 5 years ago was quick enough to make it top 5 in Europe. Things have moved on a lot since then and at least a dozen buses are quicker now.

Here's one of my runs, not my quickest but you get the idea
http://youtu.be/K7deu8L0ra4

My very good friend Trevor Sharpe currently holds the European record for a bus at 11.59, just a tenth off being the quickest on the planet.....it's had some mods over the winter and we are shooting to be the first ever 10second bus this year.
It should also be pointed out that he drives it to the strip, it still has a full camping interior, cooker, wardrobe, fridge the lot :-)
http://youtu.be/nzoxKBSjk2o

Also bare in mind that he's pulling 0-60 quicker than a Maclaren MP12C!

Enjoy
