Maxige, hats off, thats about my favourite AH build!
I have a dutch blue step front, and its slowly gaining AH bits and pieces, but at heart its a GTJ with a 1750 motor. Someday I'll have the body sorted and do an engine upgrade.
I recall your car was originally destined for Dubai. Is that true? Were you the owner a the time, and how did you fair with running it out there? I couldn't help but keep my eye out on a recent business trip, incase it was about!
The Porsche too, just great.

Lol, not quite yet, but certainly needs some TLC. Used to race 2010-2012 but been road car for last few years... Bit of project by all accounts but drives and goes well for 1960s motor...RichB said:

Looks fun, mate of mine had one back in the early 70s. They are a big old bus, used to get 6 of us in there to go to the pub. What engine's it got?paulg390 said:
Engine is standard block with ported and polished head, piper camshaft, twin carbs... Lots of mods to suspension, exhaust, to make it race worthy. Going to be a labour of love and tears I reckon..
Humm... make it a bit more presentable and see if you can get it in the Goodwood St Mary's Trophy! Mr. Magoo said:
She's lovely, is it a 2L Low Chassis? What year? I had an hour on the M25 during some rather inclement weather yesterday (hood inoperable) but I am pleased to say I didn't get wet keeping a steady 65.
1935 4 1/2 litre ''actually ol' boy''.... owned for 33 years - [longer than the wife, in fact - not that I ''own her'' of course - ahem] ... Mr. Magoo said:

oooh - I was foxed by the Rad. But what do I know, all a learning curve for me right now. Meadows?p.s. 65mph Alec? That's clipping along nicely. I've only had mine up to 55/60 and that's approx 3,000 revs. I'm a bit nervous exceeding that.
p.s. had mine at a Goodwood Breakfast Club a while back. Nice drive out...

Indeed, we chatted about Mehere's car a page or two back. It fooled me too but it's got an earlier rad.
