What are you obsessing about today?

Flicking through the classifieds tonight and oh my word, they don't come up very often at all and it's made me go weak at the knees.

It's mine if my lottery numbers come up on Friday.

The thing is, I remember walking past a dumped 375L the very same colour in a rough part of Leytonstone in the late '80s, where the M11 link road was being built.
Each day as I walked past it got worse, one side window broken, then two etc, etc.
That was RHD too, wonder if it was taken away and saved/restored.

A few years ago John Entwistle's dark blue Monteverdi came up for sale and it sort of struck a chord with me - back in the '70s when my Grandad was running his own recording business he did some work for Olympic Studios in Barnes (alas now gone) and got a lift back home in John's car, a trip of less than half a mile, but it made such an impression on him he told me about it just before he died.

A small boot 11BL with Pilote wheels at that price, so much want.
Can imagine the drive home over a week or so, stopping off buying cheese & wine.

Which combination of inlet manifold, carb, ram pipe and or air filter to fit to my 1275 engined Morris 1000. The more I read the more confused I get! I think I might just get lots of bits and try them all out!
Also facing this, im baffled why i have to be experimenting was hoping to employ the benchmark solution.Anyhoo ive bought two conical K&N filters, and 2x motorcycle ram pipes.
Will be fabricating a couple of pipes from the 1.25 SUs.
Obsessing about one of these but it has idling problems and mechanical fuel injection which is making me nervous.
Was planning for a CX or CX familiale but wavering.
