Oh, I can't believe this. I was so hoping that it would turn out OK.
As I said on the other thread I never met Ian but I was constantly amazed by the quality of the videos he edited together, and he seemed like a really decent chap.
This is such sad news; my heartfelt condolences to his widow and children.
Martin.
I too would like to echo this and all other remarks here. I never met but was shocked and saddened when I read the news.
Rest in peace, may we meet in another time and place.

Shit
I didn't know Ian personally, but I watched many of his brilliantly edited vidoes.
I suspected the worst, however as I went to bed last night, I found myself really hoping that I would come into PH this morning to be greeted with good news about Ian....
Before I even opened this thread, my heart just sank when I read the title of this thread
All I can do is offer my deepest condolences to Ian's family & friends at this most tragic of times - you are all in my thoughts.
It's all over now Ian, rest in peace.

May I, too, echo my codolences to his family.
I met Ian last Summer on my first PHEA meet, and he was the first person to welcome me into the world of PH. Even though I havent known him as long as most PHer's I regard him as a very good friend. I emailed him frequently, and he was a fantastic person, which is why I said "yes" when he asked for the use of my car on the Mosler visit.
He was a friendly, and warm hearted soul, and will be sorely missed.
May you Rest In Peace dear friend
