Have been away from a PC for a few days, and have only just come accross this whilst "catching up"

Like many others, I had never met Ian, nor have I engaged in a great deal of correspondence with him, but I still feel a sense of sadness and loss at this news.

My thoughts are with those who knew and loved him.

Tragic news and condolences to Ians family. His wonderful videos were something which really helped me in buying a TVR and meeting more people here on Pistonheads - he will be incredibly missed.

Very sad news.
I've not been on PH very long, but I've watched Ian's videos several times. I'd like to think they gave me that extra incentive towards owning a TVR soon. If so, I thankyou Ian.
My condolences to his friends and family.

Like all PH brothers and sisters, I am shocked and saddened by this news - Ian had joined us one our our recent Tunnel Runs too!

It's always sad to hear of the passing of a PH'er but this goes beyond that.
Condolences to Ian's family and all those who knew him.

MoJo.

I never knew you Ian,
Only what you wrote,
I’d sometimes see your footage,
Of car or plane or boat.

A Pistonheader like the rest,
I’d read your posts on here,
More so now, I’d love to chat,
Or just to share a beer.

You’ve touched the hearts of many folk,
More so now you’ve gone,
You really seemed a decent bloke,
But something was all wrong.

Its oft’ too late for peoples thoughts
To turn to those who care,
I’m as sorry as the rest,
We were truly unaware.

In family and on internet,
You’ll be missed for sure,
Christ, I hardly knew you!
But I wish you’d stayed for more.

May we give you something back,
Just as a little token,
We’ll never think of anyone else,
Whenever we see the Vulcan.

that expresses everyone's sentiments, thankyou lazy

may I just add to what i previously said, as well as all the information you posted, the meetings you arranged and the excellent video's you made, P&P is full of light hearted threads, there are no arguments, and I believe that's thanks to you, so again I'll see ya up there some day, enjoy the roads up there, and most of all, thankyou Ian.
